1st Attempt At Steampunk For Zoe's birthday


Hello everyone well check me out not a pastel colour in sight and i think i went distress ink crazy lol.I made this card for Zoe at make it crafty as its her birthday.Well as some of my regulars know this is my very 1st try at steampunk and this image i adore so i hope there will be more to come.The image is from Krista's store creator of Simply Sassy I am so pleased I can get her images this way as its alot more affordable for me.The papers came wth a glimmer mist kit but were very pale so i have distressed them all with Antique Linen and Vintage photo.The image has been coloured with promarkers and the nesties used are scallop oval and ovals.The chipboard gears I heat embossed well triple embossed and they are from Make it Crafty and then I have finished with silver metallic card candy.

WHITE ON WHITE

Hello everyone
I hope you are all well.Today i want to share my attempt on a white on white card not something that I do very often but i think it turned out ok.
I have used this sweet little stamp from the Craft Stamper magazine which was a freebie a while ago and the beautiful sentiment is from whimsy stamps.The dies I have used are spellbinders fleur di lis and nesties circles,marrianne dies swirl die and heartfelt creations posies die.Also used are dotty embossing folder from cuttlebug,gems,ribbon and card candy which I was lucky to win a whole store full of beautiful colours this week on the very talented Kath and Buddy's blog thanks guys I love my prize.I have also used some diamond stickles too.
I hope you like it I had to put a piece of green card behind the card so you could see it better but there is no green on my card.

I FELT The Need To Make This..............

Hello everyone so over the weekend I decided to dive right out of my comfort zone and make this little tweet cushion purely out of felt I stitched two a4 sized pieces of brown felt together leaving a small gap so i could turn it in the right way and stuff it but with what i didn't have any proper filling so i had to think outside the box and opted for cotton wool balls lol and whats more funny it actually worked.I did decorate it first though using dies which actually cut beautifully in my bigshot.I then added some gems to give it a sparkle and a more luxury feel.The dies I used were Tim Holtz birdcage die,heartfelt creations posies and a cuttle bug mother die but i only used the little butterfly from that one.

I heard it through the Grapevine...............


Good afternoon everyone I hope you are all having a great weekend I feel a little down in the dumps today but I am sure it will soon pass I hope.
Today I thought I would share this card I made for the House Mouse Challenge I hope I make it in time.
I have water coloured the image with Le Plume markers onto watercoloured card and the paper is from an old Daisy and Dandilion pad from Papermania.The greeting is from a Hero Arts set,Flowers are made from a Heartfelt creations spellbinder die set and the pearls for the centres are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have kept it quite simple so the eye is drawn mainly to the image.

Popcorn For Christmas

Hello everyone time to share yet another little christmas card with you all,I have decided to go with this gorgeous Popcorn The Bear 'All wrapped up for Christmas' I love this one and the image is lovely and big.I have used promarkers to colour him in and although hard to see all the fir trimmings have been glittered too.For the background I have heat embossed snowflakes and used Polar white flowersoft for the ground so it doesn't look like he is floating lol.

The Elegant Peacock


Hi everyone I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the weekend.This is going to be a short post as I would like to enter this card into The CD Sunday Challenge and this week they want to see Peacocks so I used this beautiful topper from Joanna Sheens Jayne Netley Mayhew cd rom and teamed it with this gorgeous peacock feather paper from LLB paper pack.I have also used little gems,ribbon and a martha Stewart punch and the swirls are from a Marianne die set.

Christmas With Humpfrey


Hello again omg I just love this new stamp how cute is Humpfrey and what more this stamp set was a free gift with Papercraft Essentials magazine.
I have coloured him with promarkers and highlighted the snow with crystal glitter I also used some red art glitter for Rudolph's nose.I have made this one quite simple and embellished with swirls from a marianne die set and some red pearls for the corners I hope you like this one.

Oriental Easel Card


Hello everyone I made this card about 8 days ago for a competition on Fee j Designs website but didn't want to blog it here until the results were in and I got second place which means I got to choose any cd rom from her website woohoo.She gives you the papers to download too and this month there is a real beauty.
All of the elements are from the free downloads and the theme was to add gold so I added some gold twine,mirror card and a greeting peel off.For the vase I made some flowersoft ferns too for added embellishing.

Oriental Corner Bookmark

Evening all,
Don't you think that lately we don't see enough oriental projects or cards well I thought I would get this cutie out of my stash and use her as I have had her for ages and never used her,She has been coloured with promarkers,Papers are 7 gypsy sushi papers and I have used a martha stewart border punch for the bottom and an xcut flower punch to embellish with little red gems for the centres.

A CAS Tilda Christmas


Hello everyone I hope your all munching on those crunchies and getting that friday feeling,Today I have this little cas card to share with you.I was very lucky to win this stamp from Vicky's candy thanks hun she is my fave Tilda at the moment.I have coloured her with promarkers and stamped a greeting below her.I have stamped her onto an embossed card from a pack I got for christmas matted her onto some light brown card and added pearls and ribbon for detail.

Letraset Colouring Challenge


Evening all over at the Letraset set blog their new challenge was to print out this pattern and to colur it in any way you like using their marker pens so i thought i would give it a go using some bright summery colours.The winner of the challenge gets to choose one of the new promarker blending sets.

A one Of A Kind Birthday


Hello all just a short post to share one of today's makes with you.I got this image from my friend Vicky who kindly sent me loads f fab images with the candy I won on her blog a little while ago.I have coloured her with promarkers and wow her hair took me ages lol.I have highlighted the image with some stickles to add a little sparkle and used a clear sakura glaze pen on her lips.Papers are from papermania Red Hot Capsule collection,Sentiment is from a Hero arts set and the punches are Martha stewart.I also added a little lace across the middle too.
