Light My Fire-CAS

Hello all yep its me again but no moaning this time I promise,I have made another quick card to share this time using a High Hopes stamp and the greeting is also from High Hopes too I have coloured him using promarkers,used a Martha Stewart punch for the side and done some faux stitching for added detail using a gel pen,the heart die is from sizzix and the heart embossing folder is from crafts too - simples.

The Stampman's Annual Awards

Hello again I know 2 posts in one day I must be coming down with something haha,well over at The Stampmans blog they are having their 3rd Annual Awards and would like to see your best project of the past year so I thought I would give it a try.There will be a first prize and 4 runner ups if anyone would like to join in too.

I have decided to go with this card below as I was really happy with the way it turned out as it was my first Steampunk style card and I used lots of distress inking and heat embossing on this one and it was heaps of fun to make and the response from your comments were fabulous too so thats the reason for my choice.

FIRST CARD FOR 2012-Thanks

H i everyone finally I am back and actually have a card to share with you all,I has some great things for christmas this year my very good friend Paula got me a gorgeous cd rom called Victorian flowers which is from Joanna Sheen and wow the artwork and papers are lush and she also got me this fabulous template too which I have used to make this card and as you pull it each layer pops out I absolutely love it the flower images are from the new cd and print beautifully and so is the matching paper.My other half bought me some fab alphabet stamps too from littlewoods online and i have stamped the word thanks onto the paper to match then used glossy accents onto them.I have also used a doily punch,gems and crinkly ribbon.
