A Cheeky Get Well

Hi everyone today I am sharing a card I made using my gorgeous prize from The Greeting Farm isn't she just the cheekiest you ever did see.Lately I have been having trouble with my mojo but it is slowly returning I was starting to get a little worried phew!!!

For my card I have used Cheeky nurse from TGF,spotty paper from a forever friends paper pad,Martha Stewart punch,wide glittery ribbon,shapeabilities flower creations,cuttlebug dotty embossing folder,promarkers,sentiment from a popcorn the bear set and some stickles glitter glue(please click on my card to see the glitter detail a little better).

Good morning everyone its time for our new challenge at Cowgirl Up Stampen Challenge blog and this week we would like you to take a look at the inspirational photograph pictured above and make your project,you can interporate it how ever you wish but most of all we want you to have fun.

For my card I have chosen to use 'Jim' Which you can buy at the Cowgirl Up Stampen Ranch I think he is such a cutie I love his hair and big eyes awwww.I have focused on the colours of the picture and done some fake stitching around the edge to show the element of the quilt.I hope you like it.

Ahoy There Matey

Hello My Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing this quick card with you not my usual style of clean,crisp straight lines I decided to venture out of my comfort zone a little with this one.Oh my gosh talk about a card on a budget.The dragon and backround images were freebies from Dustin Pike and the backing paper and sentiment were freebies from Simon says stamp how mad is that practically the whole card was made for free lol.The shark fin and chest were from Creative Expressions under the sea stamp set I thought they went well with the other images on this card.Other materials used were promarkers,gems,Tea Dye distress ink and cardstock.I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather its been really hot today in the south of England scortching in fact too hot for me.

Cricut Candy

Final 2 Pages Of My 1st Brag Book

Hi everyone late at night again its almost 2am I really must sort out my sleep pattern lol.

Here are the final 2 pages of my Brag Book.In the top one you can see little cheeky Blade tucked up on MY side of MY bed he is a little buggar for that but with that adorable face how can I tell him to shift his little butt.I have been known to sleep on the sofa while he and rob are snoring their heads off in our bed I know what your thinking 'Does this dog walk all over you' and the answer to that is probably yes I think the pack leader board goes Rob,Blade and then finally me I'm just too soft for my own good sometimes.He will not sleep on his own bed until his bottom sheet ,quilt and 2 pillows are all neat and he will jump on and wait while you pop his thick quilt on him lol.I swear he is a 4 legged human at times.

In the second page he is trying to get away with playing with his ball in the flat I tell ya this boy certainly does try to test me if Rob says no he will run into me as if a child would lol.Its a dog I try to tell myself but he is a member of the family I think to myself if I had children what would I ever be like they would get away with murder lol not literally but you know what I mean.

I started this brag book as I saw a challenge on the Posh designs Scrapbook store blog and it was to make a bragbook over 5 weeks using the sketches that was posted for us and the winners will be announced later today so I have my fingers crossed the winner recieves the new Zutter distressing tool and 2 others recieve $25 to spend in their online store so great prizes,but for me I have already won by putting together these photos into this little book for me and Rob to trasure for eternity this alone was an achievement for me as I have always been scared of starting a scrapbook as they are so big but this size was perfect for me.

Hello Everyone,sorry I haven't posted much this week its just I have been so busy the other half finally decided that I DO have more crafty stash than he has tools and has given in to giving me his walk in tool cuboard for me to put all of my stuff in YAY about time too so I have been very busy doing that I have made a card for Sundays Hop and challenge for Cowgirl Up Stamps too but all will be revealled this sunday I hope you will all be able to join us especially as there are some wicked prizes a candy plus a great sponser you will not want to miss out on the chance of winning all of those goodies I can tell you.

DT Cowgirl Up Stamps Challenge 4

Hi everybody,

Today I am sharing my very first DT card for the amazing cowgirl up stamps.CJ is one of the most talented people I know and I just love her stamps.This little beauty is called Checked Faery and you can buy her at the Cowgirl up Digital Stampen Ranch along with some other really amazing images for loads of different occassions you must go check them out.There are new ones added every week and 21 new ones have just been added and with fathers day upon us there are loads for the occassion so pop over and take a peek and treat yourselves to a shopping trip in the comfort of your own home.

This weeks challenge is to follow Andrea's amazing sketch and I had a great time with this one thanks Andrea.

I have coloured her with promarkers,checked paper is from MCS back to basics cd rom and the backrounnd I created myself with a swirl stamp and embossing powder.

Sweet Wishes

Hello Friends,

This is just a quick post and a second entry into the crafters companion monthly challenge as this was the only sketch and challenge avaliable to me yesterday as the electricity was down.The greeting and topper was from the Popcorn the Bear Romance cd and the paper was from a forever friends paper pad not sure what its called now though sorry.I have also used a decorative embossing folder which I lightly inked with a brilliance purple dew drop ink and finished with a ribbon bow and 3 gem stones.

Crafters Companion Challenge 1

Hi all how are you all ? good I hope.

Well yesterday the electricity went down all day long OMG I was so figity as I just needed to look on my blog and do some hopping but no chance of that was there so instead I only had one option and obviously that was to craft the afternoon away so I decided to make a card for the new Crafters companion Challenge blog as luckily the night before I drew out the sketch to follow I was so pleased I did too.

For this one I have not used any type of Stamps I know no promarkers either I do feel a bit of a traitor but still I think I needed a change.I have used a pyramage sheet from the Popcorn the Bear Romance cd and 2 of the matching papers and matching insert to pop inside and finished with some red gem stones and a piece of red dotty ribbon which I tied into a bow.I hope you like it.This would make a perfect anniversary card for someones partner I think.

TOP TIP:On the pyramage sheet at the bottom of the page it shows you how the finished topper should look once layered DON'T throw it away as you can see I made a matching tag with it and it still has the elusion of the layers even though its a flat topper.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge with Attitude

Hi to all my crafting friends,

Tonight I want to share with you the card I made for the sugar bowl challenge.This is one of my newest sugar nellie stamps and I just love her as she still has that sweet look to her.The challenge was to follow the sketch and to use the colours pink,black and white.

I have coloured her with promarkers,paper is from Debbi Moore's classical elegance paper pack,I have used the dotty cuttlebug embossing folder and the card and ribbons are from my stash.

At first I wasn't sure about how the bright pink looked but now I think it has grown on me a little.If you would like to join in on The Sugar Bowl Challenge this week they have a great prize up for grabs 6 sugar nellie stamps and 6 Tim Holtz Distress ink pads how cool is that.I bought my first distress ink the other day so I would love to win to build up my collection of these inks but if not I shall have to get Rob to treat me to a shopping trip lol.

Special Post-Please Read

Hi ladies I have a very special post now and would really appriciate it if everyone who sees this to take the time to read it through and pop over to the links I include thankyou.

This is Ethan,who has been fighting a battle with a severe form of cancer for a few years and is now undergoing even more treatment please go to Kristens blog to read the full story.

This is Bella who developed a severe infection and lost all 4 limbs,she is now needing intensive therapy and needs alot of support to help her through the hard times ahead.

Please go to kristens blog to read more about Bella's story.Please be prepared when reading these stories as they both brought tears to my eyes it just seems so unfair.We can all show some support by sending the children a card to help brighten their day a little even if only for a few moments.I know with the kind hearted friends I have maid through blogging that these children will recieve sackfuls of cards.

House Mouse-Sorry your Leaving

Hi crafters,

Just a quick post as its now 12 midnight and I am starting to get tired and need to get up in 3 hours to get the yoghurt out of the maker(don't ask lol).

Firstly a little shock for you all this card was made using zero promarkers I know what your thinking(traitor)but I fancied a bit of a change so I used matallic sakura pens with a waterbrush for a more subtle look let me know what you think.Also used was this adorable house mouse image,greeting stamp,gems,chalk inkpad versa magic one,white/baby blue card,dotty embossing folder and a little white ribbon.Quite a simple and clean look to this one I think but its ok.

Evening all be fore I start just bare with me a moment AAAAAaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh........................................................ right now I have that off my chest no I am not going crazy I just get really enoyed with the way my pictures look on here I so need a new camera its really doing my head in I mean how can I expect anyone to concider me to work on their design team with these pictures oh I am so fed up.

well I shall tell you how I made this card even though you can't see it all that well.

The image is from Elizabeth Bells blog she is a digi and she is soooo adorable I just love ms Bells work she is truely one incredibly talented lady I am sure you will agree.I coloured her with promarkers,lots of glitter is on the card but it is quite hard to see where or if it there at all but I promise it definately is lol.The sketch is from Sketch saturday,papers are papermania,MS border punch,paper roses from my stash and some s/a pearls to finish plus I distress the edges of my topper with a subtle pink inkpad versamagic one I think.I hope you can just about see the main image as this is the main focal point I will try my hardest to sort my camera problem out soo but they can be quite expensive so I can't be sure when so please bare with me on that one.
