Story Time With Cheddar

Hi everyone just a quick post to show you this quick card I made to enter a few challenges.
I have used Cheddar from the home grown section from Sugar Nellie he is an oldie but still a goodie in my opinion.I coloured him with promarkers,used the cuttlebug dotty embossing folder,paper is from DCWV adheisive paper prints pack and 4 star gems.For a little added detail I drew some fake stitching with a sakura white glaze pen.Well what do you think of this one?

Hi everyone there is a very special person in blogland who I really admire and inspires me so much and she has given me this lovely award which I am truely honoured to recieve.Who I hear you ask well the clue is in the title the one and only Fern from Fern's creations and OMG you just got to go to her house(blog).She is super duper talented weather it be cards,gifts and scrapbook layouts I have known her ever since I first started my blog and she really has helped me to build up my confidence so please pop over there and you will see exactly what I mean she is a true crafty genius in my opinion.THANKYOU SO VERY MUCH FERN.

Summery Strawberry Willow

Hi all just a quick post as its 1.35am and I am thinking about closing my eyes and having nices dreams very soon lol.

My card this morning is much busier than you are used to seeing from me and I am still unsure of it but we can't love every card we make we are always going to have ones that we think are just ok.

I have used a WOJ image called Shy Willow and I think she is so beautiful,the paper is from Crafters Companion's Cute Companions Summer Stories I just thought it would go well with the strawberries on her dress,D'vine Swirls embossing folder,flowers and ribbon from my stash and labels 4 nesties.

My First Aperture Card

Inside of card

Hi everyone just a quick post to share with you this is my first Aperture card and I wanted to keep it quite clean and simple which i think it is.I have used Chick e dee from sugar nellie and coloured her with promarkers.For the Aperture I have used circles and scallop circles,greeting is from cute companions garden set which has been stamped onto labels 4 nesties,flowers are stamped from a papermania set but then turned over as i wanted the shape of them but not the pattern and has been finished with a little ribbon.

Hi last post for tonight this is just a simple card I made using a free download which was given to all of the members of the Crafters Companion website on the launch of the new Platinum Popcorn and omg it is so on my wish list I just love it there are also stamps to match too.

This is called a circle slider card and when you turn the tab Popcorn and Souffle disapear and then reapear when you turn it back the other way.I have simply just made it up and then layered it onto red mirror board then gold mirror board.

Popcorn Santa

Hi everyone this is my very 1st christmas card this year and I just love Popcorn the bear I was very lucky just before christmas to win the triple cdrom set and 4 stamps in a magazine competition I nearly cried when I won and my Partner reminded me of this when he saw my finished card.I used the decoupage sheet from the frosty and bright cd along with the matching paper,I used the holy from the matching stamps but trimmed them down a little bit,icicles embossing folder and some stickles stardust glitter glue.I hope you like it.

Sweet and Sassy - Oldie but Goodie

Good morning all I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend mine has been pretty quiet just stayed in mostly as it was far too hot for me and Rob and our poor little Blade hates the heat bless him.I am going to make this a quick post as I really must try to get some sleep now.

This card I have made for the Color Throwdown Challenge and The Sugar Bowl Challenge and a few others.

The Throw down want you to use these colours
and The sugar bowl would like you to use this Sketch made by Judy with a theme of Scallops but I have turned the Sketch around to fit my stamped image which is sweet and sassy from Sugar Nellie and she is one of my favourites.
I have coloured her with promarkers,Papers are from Papermania the rose pack as was the diecut sentiment,Butterfly punch and scalloped punch are both Martha Stewart ones and finally the gems and glitterglue are both from my stash.
oh I have just seen the ending of Titanic I love that film so sad though.

Donkey Smiles For Michelle

Hi everyone today I have had fun making this pretty little card for the wonderful Michelle.Those of you that know michelle may have read all about her accident on her blog and over at A Spoonful of Sugar they are holding a massive competition with loads of fab sponsors who have donated some really wonderful prizes all you have to do is to make a card for Michelle and send it to her.You will find her addy and more info on this at A Spoonful Of Sugar blog.

I am quite pleased how mine has turned out I used the Sketch from Friday Sketchers,papers are from papermania,promarkers,glitterglue,ribbon,martha stewart heart doily punch,Spun Sugar distress ink,gems,the hearts are what you are left with when you punch the border and the image and sentiments were made especially for us to make a card for Michelle which you can get free from Whimsy.I printed the image out 3 times so I could decoupage the image I am not sure if you can tell by the piccy though it is there.

I hope you might be able to join in on the fun and put a smile on Michelle's face.

Kiki and Pup Challenge Card With Matching Bookmark

Good morning friends,

It's almost 1.30am so I am going to keep this short and sweet.I have just finished this card with matching bookmark for the Tickled Pink monthly challenge.I think the bookmark could also be a large tag for a gift.The image is from C.C Designs called Kiki with pup and I think she is super cute and a real joy to colour.I have also used promarkers to colour,dotty embossing folder,labels 4 nestabilities,flower creations shapeabilities,paper flowers,gems,a sentiment stamp from inkadinkadoo,Fiskars punch,ribbon and the papers I got online as a freebie but I really can't remember where I must try and find out as it is beginning to irritate me now.

Coffee 2 Go

Morning everyone,

Before I get started I would like to thank Jane from Jane's lovely cards for the beautiful stamp on this card as I won it on her candy draw so thankyou very much Jane your a diamond I love this stamp.Please pop over to Janes Blog omg this is one very talented lady I love seeing everything she makes.

For the stamped image I coloured her using promarkers the pearls,flowers and card are from my stash and I am sorry but I really can't remember where these fab papers were from all I know is they were a freebie on a craft site so I am sorry about that.As you can see I have used distress ink around the image and I know what your thinking lol I went a bit overboard I have only just got myself a few of these inks and I am still practicing I certainly didn't do that very subtle which was the original plan.Also I think the flowers could do with some glitter sparkles what do you think should I add some glitter or leave them let me know.

1st Time Ever Scraps Raid-lol

Just a quick post this morning as its now 10 past 1 in the morning and I am almost reaching for the matchsticks to keep my peepers open lol.

Well I desided it was about time to go to the leftovers box and have a rumage and see what happens well this is what happened so i don't think i will be doing that again.I think the toppers clash a little bit with the paper oh well you can't love them all.The paper,toppers,sentiment are all from popcorn the bear birthday cd rom which were leftovers the ribbon is from doodlebug and the flowers from my stash please be brutally honest about what you think it will not hurt my feelings I am a tough cookie honest.
