The next 2 Pages Of My Brag Book

Hi all well as promised I am continuing to complete my very first mini scrap book well brag book its called I don't know why lol.As many of you know I am basing it on my most treasured possesion my adorable Staffy Blade or Bladey Bloo thats his nick name although I mainly call him Noo Noo lol poor thing he must get confused but he does answer to all of them so thats good. How cool does he look with those shades on bless him I think he wants to audition for PUP FACTOR lol he just wouldn't look right for the toto auditions for some reason.

In the second page me and Rob took him for a walk on christmas day and just for the small walk we decided it would be quite fun to get him into the spirit of christmas and put on some tinsel which was leftover,I really thought he was going to rip it off but he just left it I was amazed.Notice in the photo the sun is beaming down on him unbelieable you hardly see any sunshine at all all summer and come December 25th when you want to take lovely wintery christmas piccies there it is large as life glowing down on us lol typical.

LOOK What I Got In The Post

Hi everyone I just had to share my Thankyou card that I recieved through the post from the amazingly talented Debbie from Debs does Crafts she is such a sweetie I wish my camera was working because she also sent me some gorgeous craft stuff heaps of charms,Stamped images(love them) some gorgeous pins that she made herself omg they are just lush so watch this space as I will definately be using them this week they are amazing and also she made me the most beautiful keyring infact it is on my keys right now its so pretty silly camera i wanted to show them off so bad.You will see some of the pins and charms on my cards very soon,not to mention the beautiful card she made for me.Thankyou Debs loves ya hun x

Make A Wish-Its Party Time

Hello everyone well today is very doom and gloom here in the south of england so I thought I would share a card I made yesterday for my nieces birthday.I have had the cute companions summer stories cds and stamps for some time now but Haven't got round to using it so I thought it was about time I dusted off the cobwebs and make good use of them.This is a gatefold card and on the front it shows lots of yummy cakes and inside all of the cute mice are having a wonderful birthday party.The front of the card and backround scene on the inside are both printed from the cd I then stamped out loads of the images from the celebrate stamp sheet which were the large cake,2 of the mice,pressies,candles,strawberries,cards,cream swirls on the cake,cupcakes and balloons I coloured them all with promarkers and on some of the items I used some glossy accents and glitter to highlight them(sorry but the glossy accents on the cherries,strawberries and balloons is hard to see) I then built up my picture by sticking all of the small stamps where I wanted them to be.The little mouse eating the strawberry is actually the one from the playtime set that dries the car or train and as you can see he is very versatile as I think he fits into this picture quite well.

Quick And Simple Forever Friends Callenge Card

Hi to all of my crafty friends and guests I hope you have had a lovely evening.As it is a little bit late in the evening I am going to keep this post quite short but wanted to share this little A6 card i made this evening.I used this little forever friends stamp that i have had for about 18 months and tonight was the first time I actually inked it up I know I am sorry the poor little bear has been very neglected but at least I have used him now lol.The paper is from a christmas forever friends pad,greeting came from a cute companions set,I used a martha stewart punch and added a little hand made bow.I have cut out another of this image and used foampads to give a little dimension sorry if you are unable to see this.So like I said it was a very easy card to make but its ok I suppose.

I would like to thank everyone for their lovely comments on my tags believe it or not its only the second time I have attempted black hair and I just use the following colours Black,cool greys 2,3,4,5 and leave a little gap white in the middle I find blonde hair much more difficult to look good for some reason I must practice more.

Cheeky Gift Tags

Good afternoon everyone today I am sharing these two gift tags that I have just made the stamps are cheeky shooter and cheeky rockabilly from TGF there is also a third called cheeky glamour but I haven't managed to get her yet(one day)lol.

I have coloured them using promarkers and used nestabilities,dotty embossing folder and a little ribbon.They were very simple to make but I think they would make a lovely extra onto any type of gift.

This week I was very lucky to win the Allsorts birthday challenge winning a lovely package of sir stampolt prizes with glimmer mists,stamps and accessories so I can't wait to try those out and show you what I make as I don't have any of those sorts of products yet so watch this space.

My first Scrap Pages

Hi everyone I hope your all having a lovely weekend out in the sun how we are having such beautiful weather in the south of England its beautiful.

Well as promised here are my very first scrapbook pages a tricky project for me but I still gave it a go.I have entered these two pages into a Brag Book Challenge where each monday they will be giving us two sketches to complete over 5 weeks and there is an awesome prize too its the new Zutter paper distressing tool plus 2 random prizes of $25 to spend in their store for the second and third winners all of this is happening at Posh Scrapbook Designs and for every page you enter its an entry for one of the fab prizes giving us a maximum of 10 entries.I think you can join in at any time so don't worry if you miss a sketch or two just come along and have fun.The pages are only 5"X 7" so its a great size for a beginner like me.I hope you like my first attempt and hopefully the pages will get better as the weeks go on.I have decided that I am going to do my book filled with photos of my partner Rob and our gourgeous Staffy Blade.

Sweetpea Challenge Card

Evening ladies tonight i thought i would share this little card with you that i made today for a few challenges.Firstly over at Whimsical Wednesday the children Piper and Willow have designed the sketches bless them and what a fantastic job they did too I'm sure you agree.I didn't know who's to choose so decided on Willows but added some butterflies as Piper really loves them.

I have used a sweetpea image as they are sponsoring the challenge this month plus I just love the images so much.I have coloured the image with promarkers but as I am also entering the Sweetpea stampers challenge I havepaper pieced her dress,roses and the edge of her wings with Papermanias capsual papers as this was the theme for their challenge.I have used my new Martha Stewart butterfly punch which my other half got me today(loves ya huni) along with some stamps bless him,also I have used flowers,ribbon and stickles glitter glue too.

I hope you like what I have made I think is kind of an ok card (trying to be more positive in what I create)lol.

WOJ DT call entry

Evening Craft Lovers around the world,Tonight I am sharing a card I made to enter into a few challenges with the important added extra of entering into the Whiff O f Joy DT call I know what your thinking but I am going to be brave and enter anyway even though there are lots of wonderful entries already.Whats the worst that could happen.The challenge to enter is a colour challenge which is red,orange and 1 other so my other is pink as there is a little pink on the paper I used which is DCWV Taj Mahal stack which has gold foiling into it.My image is one from the city girls collection which I got from my friend Debs for my birthday so Thankyou Debs huni.

The Sketch is from the Simon says challenge which I hope to enter if I am on time.I have coloured the image with my favourite pens promarkers of course and added ribbon and flowers for detail.

Spring card with Picking Apples

Hi all today I am sharing a little spring card that I made late last night using Sugar Nellies picking Apples how sweet is she. A very quick and simple card simply stamped and coloured with promarkers and paper roses for added embellishment.I do apologise yet again for the quality of the photos I really do need to get a better camera when funds are a bit better.

I hope everyone is having a good day its a bit cloudy down here in the south of England but at least the rain is holding off.

Rockabilly from The Greeting Farm

Hi ladies well thought I would share this sassy little number she is a cheeky cherry from The Greeting Farm and is the first stamp I have of theirs I do have some digis but I do love rubber(stamps that is lol).For this card I have used the sketch from Anya and friends saturday sketch but turned it around,coloured using promarkers,paper from Debbie moore and by the way I found out that the script is actually an old mince pie recipe thought i would share that useless bit of info lol.Also I have used a ms punch called doily lace and finished with ribbon and roses oh not forgetting she is matted onto label 4 nesties which i used the dotty cuttlebug folder to emboss.I have taken a piccy before I added the embellies so that you could see the image better as I new after adding the roses it would make it a little blurry which I apologise for :(

New Style For Me what do you think?

Hi girls so i got a little confused yesterday and got the Polka doodles challenge wrong read the post too quickly silly old me.Anyway I have made another card to enter the challenge but not sure what I think as I don't usually tear or rip the paper.Right the challenge was to use the free download bundle and make a card using the download plus a theme of dimension and texture.
For my card I decided to use a stamp I have had for some time but has been a little negleted its from a set called Ethel and Murray 2 very humourous set lol the sentiment is also from the set which I think is quite funny.There are loads of wonderful elements to the free downlads and I chose to take a piece of backing paper which was originally white with the text and used a brilliance triple inkpad to chance the colour( its a shame you can't see the pearlyness of the ink) then for added texture i tore the edges which is something I don't normally do.For Murray himself I decoupaged him but only one more layer to add dimension popped him on a nesties matt and added the text with foampads again to add more dimension.Murray has been coloured in with promarkers (as if you couldn't guess)lol.
Anyway ladies I am entering this crazy little card into the Polka Doodles challenge and what a great prize they have for the winner and top 5 so please wish me luck I think I am going to need it with this one lol

Hi all this is going to be a short post as i need to enter the sugar nellie splitcoast challenge before 8pm i am late for everything just ask the other half.I won the last one and i chose 3 stamps from the funkykits site and this was one of them i love how cute this new manga is don't you.The sketch is from the sugarbowl challenge and there was also a theme which was to use something recycled and for the flower i used a flocked wallpaper sample with my sizzix die.paper is papermania and of course promarkers for colouring.For the splitcoast challenge the theme was to decoupage your stamp not sure if you can see but i did 3 layers.

Dramatic Sweetpea

Evening ladies,Gents,friends,guests and followers,

hope i got everyone,today I made a card for 2 challenges which will be at the bottom of this post if anyone is interested in joining any of them.

For todays card I used Red Hearts from sweetpea I am just loving these stamps at the moment.This is the first time that I have coloured any of my stamps or images hair black so would love it if you could let me know what you think.The red background has been stamped and ebossed in clear ink and powder using a small swirl stamp to give a slight suble look and so the card wasn't left plain I think you might just be able to see it(I hope so).

The sketch I have used is from the Sweetpea Stampers challenge and quite a good one I think nice and simple.
