Sweetpea Challenge Card

Evening ladies tonight i thought i would share this little card with you that i made today for a few challenges.Firstly over at Whimsical Wednesday the children Piper and Willow have designed the sketches bless them and what a fantastic job they did too I'm sure you agree.I didn't know who's to choose so decided on Willows but added some butterflies as Piper really loves them.
I have used a sweetpea image as they are sponsoring the challenge this month plus I just love the images so much.I have coloured the image with promarkers but as I am also entering the Sweetpea stampers challenge I havepaper pieced her dress, roses and the edge of her wings with Papermanias capsual papers as this was the theme for their challenge.I have used my new Martha Stewart butterfly punch which my other half got me today(loves ya huni) along with some stamps bless him, also I have used flowers, ribbon and stickles glitter glue too.
I hope you like what I have made I think is kind of an ok card (trying to be more positive in what I create)lol.
The challenges I am entering this little one into are:
Whimsical Wednesday-Willow and Pipers Sketches
Sweetpea Stampers-paper piecing
Sir Stampolot-blossoms and butterflies
Passion for promarkers-Fantasy/Mythology
Saturday Challenge-1 image,2 papers,3 embellishments

Now I have a slight warning for all I am going to attempt my first mini scrapbook this weekend I am hoping to do my first 2 pages for a challenge plus for a little keepsake for me and Rob please be kind as I have never done one before lol.
Take care everyone
hugs
Lorraine xx

Lovely card, Lorraine - I made one with that image a few weeks ago but I don't own it - a friend stamped some for me :)

Don't know how else to answer your question on Inky Fingers (thanks for the lovely comment, btw) but alcohol inks are really easy to use. You just have to be prepared for them to be less than perfect - they look great when overstamped. You can either use them with an applicator or put some on a craft mat, spray with blender fluid (or alcohol) then pick up with your cardstock. Really easy and they work on metal, glass, acetate, etc - you can custom colour all your embellishments if you want to... If you need anything more than that, just email me - I used to sell them.

Beautiful card Lorraine. The image is coloured in perfectly and the papers are divine. The butterflies are gorgeous and I can see them appearing again & again. A justified purchase if ever there was one. Can't wait to see your first pages. :-) xx
