CHALLENGE-IT WAS FOR ME

Hi all hope your having a good day its a lovely warm,sunny day here in Portsmouth,Hampshire for once lol.

I made this card last night and I do love entering the Sugar Bowl challenges but when I saw all of the layers in the sketch I felt a bit overwhelmed as those of you who pop over often know my cards are usually quite simple with a couple of layers or papers on but I found this to be quite a challenge.I don't think its the best I have ever done but I think its still ok.

I used sugar nellies April showers stamp,k&co papers,gems,flowers,nesties,promarkers,Martha Stewart doily lace punch,Martha Stewart frond punch and cardstock.Few I didn't realise how much stash I had used on one little card lol.

I am entering this into The Sugar Bowl Challenge this week and the theme was the sketch and to use punches I did however turn the sketch around to fit my image but this is allowed so I think I'm ok.

Fairy Magic

Good afternoon ladies hope your all well I have one card to share with you and as I couldn't find a pretty paper to match I decided to create my own with a swirly stamp,black chalk inkpad and embossing powder.Its not a colour I usually would choose I love to use pinks and purples usually but from time to time I like to drag myself out of my comfort zone with the help of challenge colours and themes.

Sorry for the short post but I have to pop out in a little while and then cook dinner so I will try and post again soon.

2nd Post-Ronnie Relaxing

Evening everyone I hope you have all had a lovely day mine has been pretty quiet really but I'm not complaining lol.

Tonight I am sharing a card I made for my dad's birthday using the digi made by pollycraft for Emma as unfortunately she lost her father last year and this Digi was made in his memory and all proceeds are going to the Air Ambulance charity so if you can pop over to pollycraft and buy your digi from there and at a really good price of just £1.50.You can get the Digi from Emma or from Pollycraft.

Emma is also running a challenge with four fantastic prizes to be won so I am entering this into her special challenge.

Quick And Simple Wizard Bookmark

Good afternoon ladies and gents(if there are any out there) Today instead of a card I have made this cute bookmark to enter into the Sir Stampalot challenge which the theme is Fantasy and usually when I hear the word 'fantasy' I immediately think of fairies so thanks to this free Digi from SJ's Little Musings I have decided on this cute wizard.This is my second entry into the challenge which is allowed but you have to do different types of projects like a card and a scrapbook layout in my case I did a card and a bookmark.The prize is awesome its to win a cricut machine and a pooh cartridge so whoever wins will be over the moon lets hope its me lol.
For my project I used Alfonzo wizard digi,blue ink,promarkers,star and 'make a wish' stamp from the cute companions range and a blue tassel and eyelet.I hope you like it.

Tilda For Multiple Challenges

Hi everyone before I talk about the card I have made I would like to thank everyone for their lovely comments about my teeth I am feeling much better today still a little tender but not as bad as the last few days so thankyou everyone.Also what made me feel even better was the fact that I won the challenge over at Sweetpea stampers and the funny thing about it is that yesterday I was going to treat myself to a new sweetpea stamp but I never bought it in the end and the amazing thing about it was the stamp I was going to buy was the same one that I won on the challenge lol something must have been telling me not to buy it don't you think.

Anyway todays card I have made for a few challenges Its quite a simple one but I think I like it.

You May Kiss The Bride

Hi all hope your all having a lovely weekend I am a bit off this week as many of you know I had some dental treatment on monday and believe it or not I am still in some pain with it I still managed to make a little card last night though so thats good I won't let nothing stop me lol.

Anyway enough of me moaning on I think this one is quite a clean and simple one using my favourite colour 'pink' of course.I got this fantastic digi from whimsy stamps I think theres an element of fun to the design,I used a lovely swirl stamp from inkadinkado around the edges and embossed with powder,I also spritzed the backround with some cosmic shimmer candy mist but the colour is very pale so i don't think you can see it on the csreen but i asure you it is definately there lol;I coloured with promarkers,embossed the middle panel with the d'vine swirls embossing folder added a greeting and finished with a gorgeous pink satin bow.I hope you like it I am not usually one to praise my work but I was really happy with the grooms hat I think for me I shaded it really well I am still trying to master the shading technique with my promarkers I hope you agree.

Splitcoast Stampers Sugar Nellie Challenge 4

Good evening everybody the challenge at Splitcoast stampershttp://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16555767 in the Sugar Nellie section this week was to create a clean and simple card without using hardly any embellishments or layers.Quite a few of us were a little worried about this one but when we all had a go we realised it wasn't that bad afterall.For my card I have used one of the Manga girls from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with promarkers,a circle doily,green,pink and white cardstock and a Sizzix corner die.I have only recently joined Splitcoast stampers forum but already I am enjoying it everyone is so super friendly and welcoming and why not enter a challenge a win yourself a prize or two.

Sweet Pea In Wonderland-Who Painted My Roses Red.....

Good afternoon everyone another card to share with you I know its that stamp again but I can't help it I really like her but don't worry I have another Sweet pea in the post so I promise to use a new one soon.Over at Sweet pea Stampers the challenge is to use a sweet pea image and the theme is wonderland so I chose to colour her the Alice in wonderland colours and paint her roses red well promarker them red lol. I am also going to enter her into a few other challenges as this card also meets their requirements these are Totally gorjuss for the charm,Simon says challenge who want us to use things with wings,One stop crafts challenge which is also things with wings all of the links will be at the bottom of this post like usual for anyone who wishes to join in the challenges.I am very sorry about the blurryness in the corner it was the large rose that I am blameing it on-I don't believe in the saying 'A good workman/woman never blames his/her tools' lol.

My 1st Double Diagonal Pocket Card and I'm worried...

Hi all of you blog mad people out there (sounds like i am speaking to myself) I hope those of you who have been lucky enough to go out in the gorgeous sunshine today have enjoyed soaking up the rays I went out earlier today and it was beautiful.

Tomorrow I have got to have dental treatment done and because I am so scared of needles and having any sort of treatment at the dentist I have to be sedated tomorrow afternoon and I am just a bit worried about it all really. know what your thinking 'what a big baby' and to be honest I would have to agree lol. I mean there are people out there a lot worse off then me but if you have a phobia it seems to stay with you really.I think it might be because of past expieriences when they have tried to take a tooth out but never numbed the area properly.

Oh well it will hopefully be over fairly quickly and I don't want to bore you all anymore with my sillyness so lets talk craft.

Today I have been making a double diagonal pocket card it was the first one I have ever made and it turns out that it was easier than I thought it would be.I used 2 gorjuss girl images,promarkers,bobunny double sided paper,nestabilities,ribbon and finished with some pretty red roses.The image on the tag is the goth gorjuss girl and she has a scull and cross bones in her hair but to make her look a little more sweet I covered the scull over with a rose and now she looks like butter wouldn't melt lol.

MY 1ST ATC

Hello again 2 posts in one day i must be coming down with something lol.

This is my very 1st ATC that i have ever made and oh my gosh i thought it was really difficult as there is no space to put anything but I finally made it and this is how it turned out I still don't know what I think of ot to be honest maybe you could let me know what your thoughts are.Well for this micro card i used pink card,sweetpea stamp called Fairy of the night,glitter,promarkers,swirly stamp,purple embossing powder and for the sweet pea challenge we had to use pink,purple and an odd embellishment so i chose a small star gem for her necklace.

OMG WHAT A GREAT CANDY I WON

PAPER TRIMMERS PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi just a quick post.My other half has said he will buy me a paper trimmer as an early birthday pressie but with so many on the market I'm not sure whats best.I have never had one before and was wondering what you all have or what you like.I thought the Crafters companion one looked good on T.V as its a 5 in 1 but as I have never used it I don't know so could anyone help me please as its time to ditch the ruler and craft knife and say hello to a proper trimmer for the first time,I look forward to your suggestions.

Hi all I did promise a card tonight sorry its a little late in the day but I have been really busy this past week.

Well I gave a little clue what would be on my card but It's not the adorable alice we all know and love she is a much more sassy version and she is a digi image by the very talented Victoria case.

Look What I Found At The Bottom Of My Garden....

Hi everyone hope you all had a lovely easter weekend I had a lovely meal out with my parents my sister and partner and a few friends it was lovely anyway enough of me.

Tonight i wanted to share another challenge card with you this one fits into a few so I will list them at the bottom of this post.

I have been admiring all of the Sweet pea stamps and at the moment I only have 2 to my collection and I know a lot of you have seen this one before recently but i thought i would use her again in a different colour theme,this one is called 'the love is gone'.

just a simple one tonight but i wanted the eye to be drawn to the image and not too much of a busy backround and I say if its not pink then its got to be purple.lol.

I coloured my image with promarkers and highlighted with glitter I was very lucky this easter as my boyfriend bought me 4 packs of promarkers in the new seasons collection so i was a happy bunny. The greeting is from crafters companion flower fairies set and the papers are from a Daisy and Dandilion pad.I also used a Martha Stewart punch,ribbon,flower and a baby rose.

Cute Couple Enter Challenges

Hi all tonight I am sharing a card i made this afternoon I would've posted sooner but my partner has been busy on the computer and I practically had to scream and shout to get on here,as you can see it worked.lol.

I just love the new city girls set of stamps that Whiff Of Joy have made I have just recieved my second one in the collection and I think it works really well stamped together with the gorgeous lady as a cute couple.

I have decided to enter a few challenges with this card Firstly the sketch is from I love Promarkers and they have also asked you to use swirls and flourishes.Second I am entering it into Passion For Promarkers and the theme this week is to use 2 images,I am also entering it into Your Next Stamp who are challenging us to use Purple.I am also entering into the Allsorts challenge which is no designer papers.

For this card I have coloured with promarkers and highlighted areas with a little glitter Ithen inked the edge of my topper with brilliance Lavender dew drop ink and then used a swirl stamp from inkidinkado set around the edge and embossed with silver embossing powder by Debbi Moore.I layered onto silver mirror board and purple card.Then I embossed 2 squares of white card using cuttlebugs birds and swirls folder inked the edges slightly and matted onto the same purple card.For the corners I used the same swirl stamp as before but used purple embossing powder and finished with the border in the centre using a Martha Stewart punch.
